HYBRID SPACES

VR Art Installation

Hybrid Spaces is an interactive VR installation in the historic hall of Robotron Cantine Dresden. By virtually going through multiple floors the visitor experiences the same physical space in different visual ways. The installation plays with contextualization and illusions of scope and space.

Meta Quest 2 / Meta Quest Pro
Blender 3D
Unity 3D

The TU Dresden Immersive Experience Lab conducted research and developed a method of calibrating multiple Meta Quest VR glasses with the same physical space and having them communicate and share visuals with one another.

I was hired as a VR Producer/Designer to co-design an exhibition using their technique and was entrusted with a small team of 3D artists and programmers that I led in the day-to-day process of the development with Unity 3D.
